Lets jope we can continue the good work at Stratford today, where we have five runners. 2.10 - What An Oscar drops a further 3lbs from his last run when 3rd of 4 at Ffos Las a couple of weeks ago. He is now on a mark 13lb lower than this time last year and 3lbs lower than his last winniing mark, so he should be in with at least a good each way chance. He has been showing signs of returning to form but with this respite from the handicapper and ground that arguably suits him best, this could represent his best chance for some time. Ryan Hatch rides and the 7lb claim is a bonus. 2.40 - Saudi Pearl has yet to make a place yet has shown ability enough in his six races to date to suggest that he will come good. A return to just over the minimum trip here should see him in better light. Ryan rides. Mission To Mars has had just the one bumper run under rules and one point to pont, and in both cases he showed promise to be 3rd of 7. His last run two weeks ago at Ffos Las saw him fade in the closing stages but he iis sure to come on for that and for his debut over timber. He can go close and Sam Twston-Davies rides. 3.10 - Listen Boy makes his first appearance ths year and is up 2lbs for his last outing, a nice win at Leicester in December. He goes from top weight here and looks to be on an upward curve so could actually still be quite well in. Another who should go close but could be our best chance today. A good run can be expected with Sam again taking the ride. 4.10 - Fond Memory has shown promise in his two bumpers to date, in particular last time at Southwell when second to a well regarded sort. He makes his hurdles debut here having schooled nicely and is another that will appreciate a step up in trip for the obstacles.
