Well, just how long does it take a person in their life to become completely OBEDIENT to GOD? I thought that I had almost gotten there....at least I was always STRIVING to be there. Well, tonight, I had a sucker laying here my desk. I was winding down and getting ready to get my email, when I saw it. So, then, I couldnt open it! (I dont know how the children here open them...they are TOUGH!) So, I got out some very very sharp scissors and began to pry on it and try to get it off. I clearly heard GOD say, UHT-UH!!! PUT THE SCISSORS DOWN..... NOW! Yep!! I heard it! But I said, A-l-m-o-s-t done! ....just as they slipped off and went halfway through my thumb! Within 4 seconds, my hand was filled with blood! I was trying to get out of the chair and make it to the bathroom! I panicked and was praying loudly and trying to get it to stop bleeding! Im talking... lots of blood! I finally found a round rubber band hair tie and wrapped it around it 3 times and shut off the blood flow. Now, it hurts really bad, but I have it bandaged and need to get to bed. LESSON LEARNED!
