Well, last night I was able to begin my part of the knitting process for my new sweater coat...itll be 50 inches long, consist of three different colored 100% wool yarns (natural fleece colors) from fleeces that we have processed ourselves. So far, on the main part of the sweater, we are 10 percent done...lol. Ive wanted this for almost 5 years now. Jackie has a whole lot of spinning to do to keep me in yarn for this project. This project is a calve length coat with buttons and belt, pockets both inside and out, and reversible (the reversible was Jackies Idea, along with the pockets on both sides)...Ive already got the color design mapped out, and have about another inch to knit before the first color change. I think its going to look pretty cool, and mountain-man rugged. I have to admit, Ive been chomping at the bit to get back to knitting again. I think Im hooked. This is only my second project...and Jackie is calling me an overachiever for doing such big projects starting out.
