Well last night we decided to end our Christmas Day by going to a movie. We decided to go kind of at the last minute. So we got dressed and headed to the movie theater to watch Unbroken at 7:15. We got there at 7:12. Of course, since yesterday was the opening day of the movie, the theater was packed. We found some seats on the 3rd row from the front and settled in. We had hoped that with Nan and Pops there, along with her sisters and April and I, we would hopefully be able to keep Gracees attention and she wouldnt act like a tiny satan. Negative, ghost rider. She acted a fool. Within five minutes she was screaming and jumping around. So April got up and took her outside. Then after a few minutes, I got up to go check on them. April told me to go on back down and shed just stand at the back of the theater. So I went back down. Then Abby had to go pee. Then she came back. Then she came back. Then Emma had to go pee. Then she came back and said that mom needed her purse. Then she came back and said mom needed her phone. Then Abby and I looked all over for her phone that had fallen out of her purse underneath the seats. Then Emma took April her phone. Then Abby needed up again. All the while, I am bored OUT OF MY MIND. Im a horrible movie watcher and this movie was slow. I was fidgeting and and moving around, leaning forward, sitting back. I thought it would never end. Then there was a dude behind us that coughed big, loud, phlegmy, gurgly, snotty coughs. Then hed blow his nose like a freakin bull elephant. And then hed cough. I gave him the death stare no less than 10 times. But to no avail. He either needs to cut back a pack or two on the smokes, or go get a z-pack, ASAP. Anyway, Unbroken is a good story that lasted about an hour and half longer than it needed to, in my opinion. And I realize that Im not necessarily a good judge of something like that, but everyone in my group was pretty much of the same opinion. Ive never been so happy to be out of a movie theater in my whole life. Like I said, inspiring story. But too much meat, and no potatoes. And way too many loogeys on my neck. Hows your day after Christmas???
