Well lovely Amy arrived safely yesterday. She is much smaller than we thought - tiny in fact. She is also much younger - approximately 3 years old but the state that she is in makes her look much older. Despite what clearly was a bad start in her life, she is a real sweetie. Here she is in the transporters car - she sang to her driver which was very thoughtful - and here she is out and about at Foal. She decided round at our tearoom that someones lap looked very comfy and seems to have secured herself a fosterer in the process - that particular lap was at Foal looking for a dog (not a staffie) and has fallen in love with her. With regards to Amy, we are disgusted that someone could allow her to get in such a state - her original photo doesnt show how emaciated she is as well as various bits of skin hanging off of her. Her teeth also need urgent attention as well as her ears. They are so swollen, we do not believe she can hear properly. Our vet will ensure she receives all the relevant medical treatment. We would like to thank all the rescuers involved in getting her safe.
