Well miracles never seize to amaze me. Yesterday my sister, Dot, - TopicsExpress

Well miracles never seize to amaze me. Yesterday my sister, Dot, was taken to the emergency room at 10 PM. At 2 AM I received a call to let me know that they had to put her on a respirator for her breathing and had only 5 to 10 minutes to make this decision before her heart would likely give out. After talking with Bubba, Alvin, they decided to put her on the respirator. She had a tube down her throat and feeding tubes down her nose. They had to strap her arms to keep her from pulling the I Vs out and the tubes out. It simple looked terrible. This morning at 11:30 AM the family met with the Doctor. He gave the alternatives methods for treatment. Remove the respirator and put her on a CPAT, not sure if Im noting this properly, and try to see if she can breathe on her on with the CPAT in place. They put the CPAT breathing medicine on Sis and well it all worked out as God planned. She had the CPAT on for about 2 hours and they removed it, the feeding tube and left the oxygen in her nose. As of 8:00 PM tonight her oxygen level was 100!!!!!!!! She began to talk as soon as the tubes were removed, drank some clear liquids and even gave us some smiles. She continued to ask if she was going to be ok, which we assured her that her improvement was overwhelming. She is a strong women, must have been all the Country Living Dad and Mom provided on the farm picking peas, watermelons, tomatoes, corn, peppers, turnips and you name it. 42 acres and they planted most every inch of it. That will make for a strong back and kindred spirit. God has blessed us this day. Thank you God for the love you show our family daily. Miracles continue to be passed to us with each passing moment. We realize that Sis could go home to be with you at any time, but we are so thankful for the time we had today, the smiles that were brought to us during our visit this day. To see her go from little hope to an awakening was truly a blessing to behold. We appreciate all the visitors today. Dot has asked that only family stop by to visit over the next couple days until she can regain some strength. I think coming by the visitor room to see the family would be ok, but lets avoid going down and visiting Sis at her request. Brother Larry and Denny Mack can come at anytime they wish. Thank you for understanding. Please pass this along to your friends so theyll be sure and get this message. We love you all and appreciated the food and visits today. Please share this miracle with everyone. God is Good; All the Time God is good. Praise him for the blessing he provides us daily. (Bubba)
