Well, my boyfriend & I had another proposition made. Two registered Appaloosa stallions, the red roan is 3 years old, the gray is 4 years old. Both untouched, been running wild with other geldings and studs. Free, if we could get them on a trailer, & we did. After about an hour of trying the red roan let me get a halter on him and this morning let me walk up to him slowly and rub on his head a little, but he is still standoffish. The gray is a rough customer, wont let me any closer than what you see in the pictures. Hes out with Clue, Trixie, and Lacy at the moment and is more worried about losing his buddy than the mares. Lacys my go to girl to keep everyone calm and in line since she hasnt come into heat since Ive owned her.. so shes probably bred by lord knows what. Anyway Im determined today to at least get within a 3 distance of the big gray boy. (: -Smokey.
