Well, my car has been sitting dead as a door nail in the driveway for 3 weeks now. Finally found mobile mechanic to come and check it out. Battery is junk, pistons/plugs are saturated in gas and the timing belt is gone. Great! Wonderful! Okay, $500 to fix that issue and a 50% chance that the car will run. This car has been a money pit from day 1. My $7,000 car that was paid off last week has cost me $22,000 with all the repairs along the way and now its going to cost me another $3000 to get it fully operational and safe. I am now officially the owner of a pile of scrap! Have to make some serious decisions, but I think I am going to pull the plug. Calling the local junkyard in the morning - this car is just stressing me out to the max!
