Well my friends; it has been quite some time since we last spoke through these inter-webs! The good news is that that time has been filled with sunshine and summer-fun. Much of that summer-fun has been spent with each of you, your campers, and friends… and we wouldnt have it any other way! With that being said I figured it was long past due to tell a few stories of our summer. So hold on and take a dip into our past few weeks! The first week started with a bang! Our biggest first week ever was just the start to wild, wonderful and wacky summer. So far we have seen our good friend the Sticky Man (a sweet friend covered in treats that is somewhat willing to share), our 200+ foot slip-and-slide, a cast of pirates who just needed help to find a little treasure (and with the help of our courageous campers they managed to do so!), as well as an appearance by a travelling carnival and so much more! We have had a tonne of fun with those wonderful little Munckins, the krazy little Koalas, those bold Buccaneers, trailblazin’ Trailblazers and those valiant Voyageurs! We have also had quite a bit of fun with special programs including: Tennis week, Bike week, Photography week, and just recently our Leadership camp! Leadership camp only takes place every 2 weeks. It included 13 campers and a full week away learning a great deal about the outdoors and the philosophies, skills, and attitudes that we cherish at Camp Centennial.
