Well, my mom is now fed up with my 12 years old cat, Spencer. She is implying that I have to get rid of him. The problem is he is 12 years old, doesnt really get along with other animals (dogs especially). He gets sick after meals (throwing up his meals- I have tried to change his diet, to no avail.) He sheds. I cant afford to take him to the vet. The problem is if I take him to the shelter, they will put him down. I want to give him a chance, but I dont know what to do. Can anyone give me a suggestion? (Dont even think about saying Find a home for him UNLESS you are offering to take him in. It is NOT easy finding a home for a 12 years old cat.) Chicago/Chicago Suburbans only (dont even think about saying, If I was near you, I would have take him in. I have heard this line a million time.) For those wondering about Barayas, he is staying. Apparently, he is less troublesome for mom.
