Well, my nomination was put forward by Saumik Chakrabarti. So here it goes. 10. The flowing river - Paulo Coelho 9. The Holocroft Covenant - Robert Ludlum 8. The Krishna Key - Ashwin Sanghi 7. A prisoner of birth - Jeffrey Archer 6. Cane and abel - Book Of Genesis (and not Jeffery Archer writer of Kane and Abel which again is a brilliant book, and since its a trilogy which Im yet to complete it doesnt feature in the list) 5. The last don - Mario Puzo 4. The Sicilian - Puzo again (and the reason why Godfather didnt get into the list and two of Puzos other works did, is simply because theyve not been turned into a movie) 3. Devdas - Sarat Chandra Chottopadhay (Thanks to everyone who intends to give me suggestions of reading the Entire Shomogro. I have already tried, readNotOnce, and this one is what tops the list. Read : I dont wanna get into a fight of which one is better/best. Perhaps youre a better judge. But HEY! This is my LIST! So, no Thanks) 2. The entire saga of Middle Earth - J.R.R. Tolkien 1. The song of Ice and Fire - George R. R. Martin And Yes, Im skipping all the bragging and rattling on how exceptionally obsessive I am, about the series of books, excerpts, and write ups that fall under 1 and 2, cause I sure could have summed that entire list with only 5 books from each of the two writers listed in 1 and 2. Nominations : Abhijit Bose, Kaustav Bhattacharya, Shounak Chakraborty.
