Well, my sweet bride of eleven years, .. or twelve, ..or..however long its been, will be turning the big four-oh tomorrow. Unfortunately, she has to work. She didnt feel that it would be kosher to ask off, with it being only her 2nd day on the job. (for those that dont know, she transferred to the Reidsville Sprawlmart and received a promotion and a decent pay raise). Anyway, she goes in too early to celebrate, then gets off too late to do much, so I made chicken fajitas for her for dinner tonight. My first time making them turned out to be successful. Even though I couldnt find any fajita seasoning in the cabinet, where I thought there would be some. Not too sure what ever happened to it. Its best by date probably came and went long before my memory did. Thank God for Google and a drawer full of spices. I believe my homemade fajita seasoning turned out better than what they serve in the Mexican restaurants. All is good. If you happen to run into Esther tomorrow, wish her a Happy Birthday!!! Will ya?
