Well my visit to NY came to an end. Unbelievably, the time passed very quickly. A month in NY seemed like a few days. Wow! I had very little time to accomplish everything I wanted to do and see everyone I wanted to see. Still, I had a great time. I apologize to many friends who extended invitations that I was unable to accept. Thank you Michh Hunton and David Sosa. I promise Ill try to take you both up on your offer next time Im on town. I dont usually pass up a good meal. Pinareño Lagasse Carlos Perez and Nelson Nelson Rodriguez you two owe me one too! One promised a paella and the other rice with gandules. :-) I apologize to two friends also who time didnt allow for me to hook up with for lunch: John Mason and Beatrice Omidina. I have something to look forward to for my next trip. Facundo Harris, we, too, have something pending. I need to thank all those friends from many years and the citys Orisha community in general, even those who dont truly know me, for the loving and warm reception I received from all of you. Im not a stranger in this town by any means. You all made this month a memorable return to my childhood home and I am greatly indebted. If I start listing names, Ill never end. Modupué ó, bogbo aburo ará New York. Lastly, my son. Im not yet fully gone and I miss you already. I love you. Kí Olorún nagbé ó!
