Well... my yearly physical cost me a whopping $10!! WOOT. So, I have a couple of prescriptions to get filled, so off to Walmart I went this afternoon... only to find out that when the nice lady at Walmart tried to enter my insurance, Blue Cross told her they dont see me in their system at all. So, I am told to call my Pharmacy Manager with Blue Cross. There is no listing specifically for pharmacy services or anything pharmacy related on the back of my card. So, I am I calling Blue Cross to find out what the deal is on why I am not being found in their system when Walmart called, but yet from my doctors office, they obviously found me. After about 10 minutes of choosing numerous options offered on the auto-menu, I am told that I will have to speak with a customer advocate. Good deal!! Finally get to speak with a human being. Approximate hold time given to me by the auto system -- in excess of 60 minutes. Holy crap Blue Shield... do you actually have any humans working there?? I hope the hell my house phone keeps a charge long enough to get through to a human. Id like to eat dinner sometime tonight too. And so the odyssey of holding for an agent begins.............. wish me luck.
