Well no such luck. We could not stabilize his oxygen saturation - TopicsExpress

Well no such luck. We could not stabilize his oxygen saturation and he fluctuated like crazy so he had to stay with the pros. He came out of surgery like a trooper no pain meds went as well as it could of but an underlying infection somewhere and his oxygen dropped to 73% when he was eating and talking so we could not go He had no breathing issues before surgery .......................or did he that remains to be seen possible sleep apnea, asthma, etc or we will just wait and see if the anesthsia wears off more and remind him to breathe deeper He was so sad but the nurses were being super good to him. I will try to get him home tomorrow but glad someone can monitor him while he sleeps. We will tackle Blood gases and repeat chest X rays tomorrow. He looks much better and he feels much better so we will see. I will keep you posted
