Well now he is finally on the improve and nearly back to his old silly self I thought Id better fill all our friends in re the drama over the past few days.. Stephen has been battling a virus since early April and gradually getting sicker and losing weight and typical man wouldnt go to the doctor.... Had a scan and it showed a large mass on his left lung. Dr thought the worst.. we were distraught. But specialist worked out it was an abscess surrounded by lots of pus.. ugh. Consequently we had to zoom him into hospital last fri and he has had a tube inserted through his ribs to drain out all the yucky stuff and they have been pumping him with huge doses of antibiotics through a drip.. Blood tests show he has pneumonia with the abscess. He had the tube taken out today and hoping hell be home tomorrow or wed.. He cant wait.. Ive quite enjoyed having the bed all to myself;)
