Well now, hits time to be up sipping on some that good ol mountain growed coffee this a.m., that is for you early risers, so if you early ones that git on up, aint up, well dont yall thank hits high time you was up and gittin woke up, gittin them eyes opened up and gitting ready to meet this brand new day head- on. Cmon ,yall roll on out them beds and git that ol coffee pot to awoofing. Now after dinner yesterday ,I got to doing some ponderin about Wisdom , something I dont have much of, but wish I did. They earthly and Godly wisdom, and IMO very much different. Earthly is where we learn from experiences, whether good or bad, how to, when to, like making investments and such, like learning how to read folks, like if that hoss shoe is hot, dont pick it up the second time. Now Godly wisdom is a whole different thing, its like if God says its so, its so, and that wisdom is freely given to those who wish to have it, by FAITH & TRUST in what God says to us in His inspired Words of the bible, but also in His quiet times of ENLIGHTENMENT. Like in seeing God prove Himself in answered prayers and miracles He still does every day. God gives a spirit of DISCERNMENT , that is unctions from The Holy Spirit, as to whether or not our thoughts and decisions are on the right track or not. Now, as far as value is concerned, Godly wisdom is many times more valueable than earthly, Gods is eternal, earthly is like life, a vapor, here today ,gone tomorrow. Gods word and wisdom are living, on going, eternal, never changing, true and by Faith can be ours if we are serious and ask in the right manner. Just have a talk with. Jesus, tell Him about your concerns, show Him you are in earnest, He will give to you as He sees you need. Now for all that turkey that was ett yesterday, hope everybody laid down last night sated and truly thankful for they blessings, and with that said, its now history and the next big event is CHRISTMAS ,and can yall bleev there is folks who are so bright with earthly wisdom that they want to do away with ever thing about the Christmas story cause it offends them that folks have Faith to believe in a Savior being born of a virgin, yep that story tramples on their earthly smarts, and they know better than such, and just aint gonna have some dummies telling them that there was a Christ Child, and that that Child grew up and became a savior of the world, just aint gonna have it that way, it offends them ,you see. See the difference? Well, I shore am glad I aint smart as some folks are, I rather take my chances on what Gods word says than some theory they come up with.Now as usual, remembrance for the usual list of feller human beings who are less fortunate than us, May God bless and comfort them as is His will, and for the rest of us, may God grant us the Wisdom to be better folks as we go through this world, may He continue to walk with us ever step, In Jesus Holy Name, So mote it be ....rd
