Well now that the race at Kilcullen tomorrow has been cancelled and was going to be my last race of the 2014 season i think now its time for this post. This is gonna be easier to write than making a My 2014 Reel like everyone else seems to be doing. 2014 has been the most eventful year in my paddling career. Lots of ups and a hell of a lot of downs!!! I spent most of the year trying to just get consistently good at racing, in the last three years that has been my major downfall. I think Ive come to fix that in the past 4 months. Thanks to my Parentals most importantly for paying for pretty much everything Ive done and gotten over the last year and for being my No.1 support crew at races and at home. Lots of thanks to my Coach Eoin Rheinisch for all the work over the past 2 years and especially this year, everything seems to be coming together on the water and I couldnt thank you any more for it. And last of all thanks to my Sponsors Nelo Kayaks GrRANA Energy Europe Contigo Europe HEDCAMz I-CANOE Here is i think all of my results from 2014, Shaws bridge: 2nd K1 Kilcullen: 3rd K1 Selection races: Juniors: 3rd Seniors: 1st Reserve GrandTully Prem 1: 49th GrandTully Prem 2: 43rd Club Championships: K1 Slalom: 2nd C1 Slalom: 3rd Marathon K1: 1st Boatercross: 1st Leixlip: 2nd Junior European Champs: Individual: 40th Team: 10th Augsburg: Saturday: 41st Sunday: 19th Leixlip: K1 Slalom: 2nd C1 Slalom: 1st Crana: Slalom: 2nd Raft: 1st Boatercross: 2nd Moonlight Challenge: 16th Nottingham Div1: 1st British Open: Heats: 50th (5th Junior, 20th in Prem) Semis:52nd Finals: 66th Junior Liffey Descent: 1st Liffey Descent: 1st Wacko: Time Trial: 2nd Boatercross: 1st Kilcullen Canoe Club Canoeing Ireland Irish Canoe Slalom
