Well now we’re up to our Long Distance Dedication. This is a letter Casey read on the air, the weekend of January 6th, 2008. It’s from a man in Queens, New York named Paul. This is what Paul writes: Dear Casey, Im writing to you from the New York State Veterans Home in Queens, New York whose motto is Serving Those Who Have Served. Being an amputee, Im a big radio listener here at the Veterans home, and Im an avid listener to your program which airs every Sunday on 106.7 WLTW right after the Riverside Church Services. In fact, many of the men & staff here listen every week. Your station is relaxing, informative, keeps up with the times, and has perfect reception at all times. Now, to my dedication. You see Casey, Im a widower, and my wife Rita went to the Lord 5 years ago in 2003. We were married for 57 years when Rita passed away. Death is not the sunset. Its the sunrise. Its a rainbow bridge separating 2 different worlds, said one man. Another one said As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live in the hearts of all of you. Please play the song Wind Beneath My Wings in memory of Rita. Well be listening Casey. God Bless. Respectfully Yours, Paul Levinston Mr. Levinston, here’s your Long Distance Dedication. https://youtube/watch?v=0iAzMRKFX3c
