Well on this one I actually have to applaud what the intent of the law even if I find the application or need for it a bit on the faulty side. The truth is people should and in most cases do (which why i find the need for the law a bit iffy) have the right to express their traditional holiday expressions. And in fact I truly believe in the teaching of how religion has played a part in history and about what the religions of history have believed and why it led to such actions in history. This however can be done and needs to be done in a factual nonjudgmental secular way as to ensure and respect the right of the freedom of religion of all individuals. In other words curriculum must always be free of pressure to force a religious belief on a child or group as that is up to the childs household not the state to to teach.
