Well packing to head north. As I sit here ( a lil nauseated from some strange reason), I am going to tell you a quick story. Today, 2 yrs ago at 2:15pm, my world, as I had known it for 38 yrs, suddenly stopped spinning and everything turned black. Dr Copper (who was supposed to be telling me I was going to have my gall bladder removed) told me (as he held my hands)...umm, well, it seems your ovaries are covered in cancerous looking polyps. Huh? Noooo. Your wrong. I am here for my gall bladder. No.....this is serious and I have already made a phone call to a good friend of mine, Dr Andrew Greene. He is a gynecological oncologist and he wants to see you immediately So, 15 min later I am talking to the man that aided in saving my life. I know God is the main reason I am here. Today, 2 years later, I am in remission. I also know the statistics related to me having stage 3C ovarian cancer and the chance of recurrence. Trust me....there isnt a day that goes by that I dont say o my....could today be the day I have a pain and it starts all over? I let it be a fleeting thought. I try like crazy to let my world go on as normal as I can. Its hard ....but I have to be strong. I refuse to let Earl come back. I refuse to be a victim again. I MAY be one day, but for now, I will remain strong and vigilant in the fight for the role as SURVIVOR !
