Well......pain is of course still an issue. However.....he is now able to take oral pain meds, which lasts longer. He hardly uses his pain pump....bc the longer he is on it.....the longer he stays. In addition to the oral pain meds....he has made a few trips around the floor...yes.....walking!!! He can get up and walk to the restroom. Yay! He is using his breathing contraption (no idea what its called) and is hitting between 900-1000, goal is 1250 per breath. Almost there. He is determined to get out of here and head home. Cant really blame him. Its pretty depressing here. But in true Dalton fashion.....hes beasting this!!!!
