A collection of essays, interviews and speeches, this book critiques the recent recorded attempt of appropriation and manipulation of Babasahebs classic text Annihilation of Caste with an introduction and annotation project. It illuminates how the Roy-Navayana project can only be described with a term like colonization. It is not an act of intellectual theft, for theft is done stealthily with the fear of being caught. But you dont notice any fear in this project, only the brazenness of colonizers. Babasaheb said: Lost rights are never regained by appeals to the conscience of the usurpers, but by relentless struggle.... Goats are used for sacrificial offerings and not lions. The relentless struggle to reclaim the voices and the canon of the anti-caste revolutionaries of ages past has begun. This book doesnt make any appeals, it challenges the colonizers and exposes their politics thoroughly.
