Well running 44.5 miles between us (me, Andy Martin, Darwin and Neipher) could have been a breeze, its just that we chose the 44.5 miles from the Lizard to Lands End! That wasnt a breeze! There are some serious ups and downs! Stairs, scrambles and 4 too many fishmongers along the sea front at Penzance to make it an easy canicross run. We finished though in 10 hours, well ahead of the competition who had 4 human and 5 dogs running in their team. Neipher and Darwin were superb throughout. Both pulled well for 20+ miles each. A massive thanks has to go to Leila Goss who looked after us superbly for 2 days before the run and to Louise-Ian Littlewood England who have just fed, watered and lent us their bathroom. We are now in bed in the van, hoping one of us hurts less tomorrow and can drive home.
