Well said Lora. They now pretend, or are experiencing some delusion that they have finally emerged into some heavenly enlightenment of some kind. If this was in a courtroom and they had just been convicted of a crime, they would, in this Hollywood made in Canada movie, like the thief, now throw themselves at the mercy of the judge and claim they have had an epiphany or something, and should now not only not be punished, but should be elevated in the public realm to become a POSTER BOY FOR INTEGRITY AND HONESTY because they suddenly wanted to be an example how a thieving creep could re-emerge as an honest thief.
