Well, since it is now official, I can tell you all that I will no longer be going back to Afghanistan. I have deployed to numerous locations in both Iraq and Afghanistan since April 2010. I have worked for a great company and with some great people, for which I am richly blessed. But my time away from Mandy Rowley and my girls is OVER! With the launch of my radio station and other opportunities in my future I feel great and I am the happiest I have been in a very long time. But after 4 years of dodging rockets, being stuck in a box and missing my family - I can finally say that I am home for good. Since the day I left, I have prayed that God would make a way for me to be home. He did! In fact, he answered my prayer with several opportunities! Prayer works, in His perfect time. Thank you all for the kind words. If you have a loved one deployed in harms way, know that we are praying for their swift and safe return. God Bless you all!
