Well, some know this others do not but, I am leaving my current job at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. I have been employed there for 4 years as a transporter and 4 years as a nurse. Several of you know how I have come from a simple transporter to an Intensive Care RN and those people I appreciate and am very lucky to call friends and I will stay in touch with you all to the best of my ability. You have seen my struggle and seen me emerge on the other side of it victorious and successful. I have accepted a position working at a local hospice organization to pursue my career further. Several wonder why I have chosen this move and are curious as to why. The best explanation I can give you is a scenario. When Christ was hanging on the cross he said, Father if this cup can pass from me then let it but, if this is what must be done, not my will but yours be done. Sometimes you just have to put yourself aside to see the bigger picture. I have 0% doubt in this career choice and that means it is going to be difficult because nothing truly good and lasting in life is ever easy. So as I pursue this new pathway in my life to those of you that know me, thank you for all the thoughts and wishes. To those of you that dont really know me or why I want to pursue this avenue, I wish you the peace I have had making this decision, then you will understand why. Going to be different not complaining about my badge not swiping at work though. Haha
