Well, something extremely positive happened today. I got a new job. One that has more flexibility, better hours, better earning potential and promotional opportunities than my last one. The job almost seems too good to be true. The funny thing is that I didnt apply for this job. A recruiter for the company Ill be working for found my resume online and they called me Monday extremely interested in me. I had my first interview yesterday afternoon, and they called me about an hour after the job to tell me I had been selected for a hiring interview. AKA the job is mine as long as I passed some last criteria. I had the second interview today and before the interview was over they offered me the job! It was faster than I really anticipated. The fact I got a new job that I really think Im going to enjoy really helped bring me a little more out of my funk. I think it will get better after I start working, which wont be for a couple of weeks. So I have one week left of a two month vacation. lol. My luck is starting to turn around some. I even won a couple of raffles yesterday and some money in instant lottery tickets. Normally I dont win anything. I just hope that my luck keeps going and things really start getting much better for me. I really need it. 208 days sober.
