Well...sometimes life gets in the way of having fun! Sunday, we celebrated our Holidays early with our kids and any of their families that could make it at Bob Evans. Had fun! Early in the night, Rhonda woke up in severe abd pain. Rylee took her to the emergency room, she spent the night getting IVs, pain meds and nausea meds. The next morning they sent her home after telling her that she had an enlarged gallbladder filled with stones and to make an appt with her primary Dr. Monday morning she called me in horrible pain. Called her primary Dr and he said to take her to a surgeon. She then had oral pain and nausea medicine. When we got to the Surgeons office, he had the ultrasounds at his office, he told us to go straight to the hospital for a direct admit. I stayed with her and she spent the night dry heaving and in horrible pain, even with all of the IV pain and nausea meds and antibiotics. Early Tuesday morning she had her gallbladder removed, kinda laproscopy, she had so much scar tissue that she actually had to be opened up, her gallbladder was huge and very inflamed and infected and full of stones. She has a drain in place. Even when you are so sick and the surgery was more than what is normal the hospital thought she should go home yesterday after surgery, The Dr ordered to have her stay another night. She was on all IV meds until 10 minutes before we came home. She has been either throwing up, dizzy or foggy all day long. I brought her home with me for a day or two, so I can watch her pretty good. She is very unsteady on her feet. Maybe if we both get a good nights sleep tonight, tomorrow will be a better day. Anyway that is why I have not been online or calling anyone.
