Well sorry for the delay. We had company this afternoon/evening. Just a little update on my gastro visit today... he believes that the celiac artery is narrow or blocked. This artery supplies blood to your intestines and digestive system. so he gave me a medicine to try for 2 weeks and if my pain and other symptoms dont go away he will have me do a special kind of CT scan that focuses on the veins that go to my digestive tract to see exactly what is going on. From there he will determine whether or not I will be requiring surgery for this. Im hoping the medicine can just take care of it but we will see. I wish he would have thought about checking this a long time ago. He says it normally happens in 60-70 year old women who are big time smokers. he just performed this surgery on an old lady a few days back and shes recovering very well in the hospital now he says. So we will see what happens on 2 more weeks.
