Well, stage 1 of our project is finished. My husband has amazed me once again! He built a rustic cedar bookshelf and a stacked stone wall in our dining room. It turned out even better than I imagined it would! But...it was not the simple project that I thought it would be. Putting real stacked stone on a 10 wall was a 7 day 8-6 job! The nice sample that was all put together that we ordered from, was not how they came. The third picture shows the big box of rock and 7 smaller boxes that we got to figure out which ones would fit together. TOOK FOREVER! The second picture was what Clint finished the first day. Stage 2, the curved wall, begins this week!
