Well, survived my first guitar lesson yesterday without my poor little pea brain exploding. Lots to take in, but itll happen. Went straight home & repeated what I learned. At my age its an accomplishment to remember something for the 45 minute drive. Thanks to guitarist/instructor extaordinaire Sean Clavin for his patience while I stumbled & fumbled. The best thing was calling Grandson James to see how his lesson went (His are on Thursdays too). Hes been getting discourage & talked of quitting. But yesterday he was proud to be the veteran guitarist on the phone (Hes been taking lessons for 5 weeks. Me only one). He assured me it would get easier & said it has for him. Hes learning Let It Be & I said, Maybe Ill have Sean teach it to me before you come down for Spring Break. His response, Oh Grandpa, I dont think youre ready for that yet. LOL. Gotta love it. He is my motivation.
