Well, that hasnt happened in a while... I was at The Home Depot picking some things to put up shelves in my daughters room. I was in the shelving aisle, enjoying the Garth Brooks playing on the stores p.a., and wondering if the shelves would match the babys crib, when all of a sudden... A seedy looking man, made a dash into my personal space. I dont ordinarily flinch, but when I do, I suppose its different than the average persons flinch. Well, apparently he was dashing THROUGH my personal space, and not at me. I saw him very last second, Im ashamed to say... Im usually more aware of my surroundings. I turned aggressively toward him, with my guard up...Well, I havent seen someone jump quite that high, or fast, since the last time I watched basketball. He exclaimed, WTF?!? Why would you do that?!? You trying to give a [expletive deleted] a heart attack?!? I said I thought you were coming at me. He seemed to be in a rush, so he just said Crazy [expletive deleted]!! And rushed off. I apologized, but he left so quickly, Im not sure if he heard my apology. Once again, Im glad that I train. Even though I didnt need them today, I like knowing that in case of emergency, my skills are always with me. I dont think I will need that cup of coffee I was gonna go get. Adrenaline is a helluva drug ;) Happy Sunday Everyone. Train Hard!!!
