Well that was TOP fun, Had a leisurely drive up the country on the back roads of Ireland on Saturday with my good friend Stephen as co-pilot, avoiding motorways as much as possible. It takes longer but more economical in my jeepette and you get to see the beautiful country we live in a whole lot better! Had a spot of hotel luxury on Saturday night and arrived at the ever wonderful Body & Soul Festival all fresh faced to greet bleary eyed friends old and new. Weather was perfect, vibes were chilled, all was good. Proceeded to have a Russian massage and a sauna (Bosca Beatha), prefect pre-gig prep! Port Royal/Trenchtown was looking amazing in the woods, Big up ShimmyIrie Roberts and Cathal Carlos Irie Dunne and the rest of the Trenchtown Irieland crew for their hard work and splendid hospitality, the Lionheart crew, myself, Asch, Seamus, Christy, had a total blast playing there this year! Boom! Only big act i got to see was Max Romeo but that was so utterly perfect, everything else would have paled in comparison. Lots of small random performances and parties were seen and had and a wonderful come-down Monday in camping with lovely people including Mark T, Kurt, and Breda (thank you for feeding me Breda :-) ) ...oh and more saunas!
