Well, that was a North Woods Law kind of morning! Started down to take photos of the fence and saw this deer swimming in the lake. She climbed out on the opposite shore and it was very apparent that she had a horribly injured leg. Called TN Wildlife folks to advise them that she had to be euthanized. She just laid down on the point. Jim went ahead and took care of that, but when we recovered her little body, it became really apparent how very badly she was injured, and no idea what caused that injury! Wildlife is headed out to collect and donate the meat. I am glad that we could ease her pain.....oh heck, it is only 9:00!
