Well, that was an eventful afternoon! On our way back from meeting Kelly and Glenn in Ayia Napa it was really windy. Coming through Limassol on the highway we happened on a lorry that had overturned and spun round right on top of the central reservation. A ways further along, just before the tunnel, another car had spun and lost its front end. It had only just happened so we stopped to see if we could help. I (Martin) ran back up the road to try and slow the traffic down as the accident happened at the end of a corner and the car ended up blocking the inside lane. Brenda went to check on the driver who turned out to be an English lady from Pissouri who had cuts and some chest injuries. She told us that she had no family or friends here and asked if we would go to the hospital with her, so it was off to Limassol General. We stayed around to check that she was okay then struck out for home. This time the highway was completely closed eastbound as they had a huge crane there trying to lift the lorry off the road. Finally got home and going off to sit quietly in the corner now!
