Well that was an interesting phone call! In my wedding contract I say the images take between 3 to 5 weeks depending on the amount of weddings in that period! I did a wedding last week and the groom just called me and said where are the images they need to show people, I explained they dont jump out the camera and onto a disc I wish they did, they have to be selected, worked on, slide show and burnt and posted! He then said come on mate youve had your money we want our images ! At that point I had to remind myself to stay proffecional and not cry on fb lol keeping in mind this wedding was last weekend, do people really think, that all I do is mince around drinking tea in my onesie ! I have three weddings to complete before theirs, and I said to him unfortunately I wont be bullied into giving you preferential treatment, and for your rudeness you probably looking at nearer the five weeks now! The power of standing up for yourself and say no, feels bloody good! Im so gutted as with all weddings you work you bits off to make their day a complete success! Oh well, lets put the kettle on!
