Well, thats a first. I have slowly been stepping into the land of blogs and commenting here and there. I recently commented on a blog written by a well-known church leader (at least among Methodists). My comment was about how Christians and the church as a whole are still in a state of lost-ness and that we must always work out our own salvation and show the radical life-changing love of Jesus Christ to anybody and everybody who visits our churches, rather than judging visitors to protect our own lifestyles for fear visitors are just seeking validation of their own. Somebody responded and said I was gay bashing, was smug and self-important. Interesting. Still not sure how they arrived at that conclusion except that they took the word lifestyle completely out of context. My heartbeat is still pounding - Im a sensitive gal. But I re-read my post, responded honestly and firmly, and that will just have to be that. #whatonearth #contextpolice
