Well, thats another weekends racing over and done with. Its fair to say, my 10 hours at home was definitely not enough recovery time, especially before the 5 hour drive down to Bedford. On Saturday, I went in the 100m and 400m. Both 100m races a total washout, so well write them off but a nice seasons best in the 400m, happy to take that, knowing I could have done WAY more had I had more energy. Sunday brought with it the 200m and 800m. A win in both the 200m heat and final and a second best time this season, all into a strong headwind. A girl that was snoring on the start line will take those result. So, I spent all day yesterday in bed and I plan to do the same for pretty much the rest of the week after a LONG two weeks of racing.
