Well, thats day one of my new off season cardio plan done! 30 minutes brisk walking before breakfast to begin with, a minimum of 3 times per week, building up to 5 times per week. The idea is not to lose weight, but simply to improve my overall level of fitness so Im better equipped to tackle the weights session and I can keep my metabolism working optimally . I decided not to use the 2.5kg wrist weights I use during my contest prep, because I need to build up my fitness first its heavy enough just lugging my fat body around at the moment! The sun was shining, it felt good to be outdoors doing my cardio and I now feel ready to tackle the day. Steak, eggs, toast and porridge done, and Im ready to hit chest and calves this morning!
