Well thats it for a really laid back day off. ME~!? When you go through the forest gate up there the trail ends, so it was all bushwhacking for awhile till i decided to cross what i thought was Porcupine Creek, then it was 12 lane cow path country, snowmobiles not allowed. i got as high as i wanted to. coming down, just when i wasnt sure where i was, i came again upon the cosmic gate. then on my bike and met a nice Wisconsin hunter who has the cabin rented. if youre riding this s...go take 178..so i did, but it wasnt very rideable either, but i came upon a green spring and THREE of those birds like i saw up Pine Creek last week. He also said i was up on Bear Mountain--an interesting grassy feature that peels off the northern Crazies. backtowork...
