Well thats it for me, another season over and another fantastic one with it’s usual share of emotional events. Firstly without the visitors to the show there would be no show so to me you are the most important people, add to that your generosity for our charitable causes and the fun we have with special events like BLOFEST, PUBSTARS, ELVIS etc only those who know the bond we have will understand why I am on the verge of a 22nd season in the same venue and some of you have been coming from the start, we really do have a special relationship. The whole team at the pier all pull together in the right direction to ensure your visit is as enjoyable an experience as ever with new drinks offers and VIP guest list it’s also great value for money. There are too many people to list individually because I would miss somebody out so it’s easier to name those who haven’t cared about the show, pier, customers etc and there isn’t any so well done to a great team. Giving Cancer Research a cheque for over £12,000 was fantastic and hopefully we can do even better next year for Jack Rigby. We have once again lost a few dear friends and they will always been in my thoughts and treasure the memories we shared and the laughs we gave to the audience. We helped change 1 little boys life through the sad loss of another and that legacy will live on. Last night was a surreal experience for me I was asked by ITV to do the TV warm up for Darcy Oate the Canadian magician at the Blackpool Opera House, those of you who know me best will know what state I will have been in the lead up to that but as it happens it was great and a really enjoyable new experience and thanks to all those involved in recommending me for it and the team at ITV, its on tv Dec 27th but I’m not in it however it’s well worth watching and great for Blackpool and I think the production team want to do more of that kind of stuff in town which can only be great news. I will be off on holiday soon but will be checking in regularly and keeping you posted on BLOFEST 3 in March and news of our 1st SUMMER BLOFEST.
