Well thats my annual race outing at Haughcross over for another year. 26th in the Veterans category! Happy with that. Went for a good start to give me plenty of slippage space then settled down to a steady pace I could maintain. Thoroughly enjoyable. Feel a bit sore this morning though. Well done to all my old colleagues at Ronde for organising another great event, to my neighbour Stephen Birrell for putting on the kids race and to my hero James McCallum for starting the race. Looking forward to next yr already and Emma is very excited as she will be able ride too!!
