Well, thats that. Its the end of the computer. IBM has announced that theyve finally developed a computer chip that functions just like a human brain... which means... JFDs Top Five Changes to the Computer World, Caused by the Chip Functioning Like A Human Brain: 5) The computer will now shut down at random times for ten to twenty minute long smoke breaks and 2 to 3 hour long naps. 4) The computer will now, halfway through working a complicated equation, forget its place completely and have to start all over because of encountering the distraction of a very well-built computer elsewhere on the local area network. 3) The computer will now develop a desire for regular hits from that aerosol air blower can for the keyboard, the huffing of which will cause all its equations for the next 24 hours to be suspect. 2) The computer will now suffer from such human problems as slipped disks, reduced drive... and maybe even start hanging out on its days off in CD neighborhoods.... and the Number One change to the computer world when chips function like humans is: 1) All the Macs will get slapped like we do, for being insufficiently PC.
