Well, the Hawkeye/Tennessee game is a terrible disappointment. At least the day isnt a total loss. My Gma is being discharged from the hospital today and we learned that the initial assessment of stroke has been downgraded to a tia or at the worst, a very small stroke. It looks like there was no major damage caused by this, for which we are very thankful! Thank you to everyone who kept her and my family in your prayers this week. For my mom and me being here where we can be with her it wasnt as hard as for those in our family who are far away and had to wait for news from us. Were all feeling very grateful right now. I also did some writing and some promoting of my Siouxland Celiac page, wrote a new blog post at siouxlandceliac.BlogSpot and have been spending some quality time with my hubby. Oh, and enjoying an afternoon snack of Almond Milk and gluten free Oreo-type cookies. All-in-all, not a total waste. :-)
