Well, the House didnt pass me. 9 to 9 vote. There was a motion on the floor to reconsider me and it was passed so they will vote again next week but I am declining. In my opinion, I have demonstrated technical skills and accomplishments in the last few months that have never been seen in 30 years at the AS TEO. I Published the American Samoa Strategic Energy Plan just 24 hours ago. The Renewable Energy Action Plan was completed months ago and is in full force. We (ASREC) successfully acquired a $640k grant to explore GEOthermal for drilling scheduled end of next year. Manua, Aunuu and Tutuila Energy Independent off fossil fuel and on natural resources by end 2016. Solutions for the Futinga Land fill 100 percent under way. What more does the FONO want? Well, lets see what the do now with out me. Maybe they can take the plan I made and move forward and maybe not. But the question I am asking myself is why would they go that route? Why fire the architect? The Governor tried his best. But the House and Senate just couldnt muster enough votes to get me through. It is what it is. Cant say I didnt try.
