Well the big day has finally arrived where my beautiful daughter gets married today, planning is sorted and the weather is perfect. The household is a hive of activity where Janine Jansen is creating the awesome hair styles for the bridal party and I get time for reflection. 23 years ago Wendy and I were blessed with the arrival of our beautiful daughter Dana Jansen. Your life has been like that of a blossoming rose where your personality, beauty and fierce independence has seen you blossom into what you are today. Whilst today is a day of excitement, there is also a tinge of sadness as today I have to give the care of my daughter to that of another man, but I know Sam Mitchell will love and care for her as I do. Sam and Dana share two passions, their wildlife park and each other. I will get the opportunity to drive her the 30 minutes to the ceremony where we can share some quality father daughter time, then as you alight from the car, your beauty will radiate throughout the people who have congregated to witness the beginning of your and Sams new life and journey. I will then have the pride, joy and pleasure of taking those first steps with you on your new journey as I walk you down the isle before handing you to join Sam.
