Well, the day that I have dreaded for a long time finally arrived. My dear, sweet Momma passed away last night and was surrounded by family listening to one of her favorites – Glenn Miller. She is now having an amazing reunion in Heaven with my Dad and so many cousins and family that have gone before. The past few months have been agonizing, but she will suffer no more. Its hard to imagine life without her, but I guess now its a new chapter in my life. This video is from her 93rd birthday back in June. She just couldnt quite blow out all the candles on her cake, and you can hear me snickering in the background...and then she gets annoyed and fusses at me and says, “Quit it now!” Thats my Momma. I will now forever light a candle every October 23rd at 9:48PM.
