Well the last week with Neil at the Learner. Im sad to leave as Neil and I have had an amazing working relationship but we have just grown too big. Shells family and I will be turning the property into a proper vibrant classroom after I finish teaching on Saturday. The colours are gorgeous, the light box is working outside lighting up the night sky and its all starting to look good. Where are we going? 107 Riccarton Road so just over the road and up a bit above The Riccarton Noodle House Go through the kitchen briefly, up the stairs and there we are. Mums, you can stay, make a drink, read a mag if you wish but there is parking out the back off Rotherham Street or Clarence at the other end. 33 students now and growing. I even have enrolments for next year! Im thrilled that Linda Dawson is joining me as my Teachers aide next term. Shell keep me organised I bet. Exciting times with aaa growing so fast so spread the word. Id love to start classes for migrant Mums....after having lived in a non English speaking country, I know how hard it can be. NCEA students and Year 8 kids facing high school entrance exams are all working to capacity.Good luck to all of them. Cheers, Mary
