Well, the medieval cheesecakes are in the oven. I hope they turn out, I had to change some things around, but hopefully, they will. The batter tastes fantastic. So far today Ive made plain cake (flavoured with Madagascar vanilla extract...and a bit of finely grated vanilla bean) these will get a butter cream icing, either today or tomorrow, and that will be dusted with coloured sugar and popping candy. I made a black currant pie for a surprise for Maz, he loves black currant pie, and the other day I found a container in the freezer with our entire harvest of black currants (LOL about a pint), wed forgotten them, and Ive made a pie for him. Ive made the cheese cakes...and Ive sampled all the batters.
